Parliamentary sources told ANI that Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are planning to reopen schools for grades 10-12 in the coming days and are preparing a SOP for it. Both states informed panel members at the meeting.
The committee is investigating satellite TV classrooms that broadcast school-based educational programming, which students can use in clustered classrooms, and smartphone and data connectivity issues can be addressed, especially in areas rural.
Members of the Standing Parliamentary Committee on Education, Women, Children, Youth and Sports will visit Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir for five days next week.
