Fall Food Trucks event returns to BTC

Temperatures are dropping and fall has officially arrived, which means it’s time for the annual Fall Food Trucks event at Bolivar Technical College.

According to a press release from BTC, this year’s lineup brings new lunchtime dining options.

Food trucks will be installed every Wednesday in October from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. People can have lunch in the BTC parking lot at 1135 N. Oakland Ave. in Bolivar, in front of the Citizens Memorial Hospital.

To kick off the event, the statement said that the staff favorite London Calling will serve pies, sides and hot desserts direct from London on Wednesday 6 October.

On Wednesday October 13, the community will be able to enjoy Lae’s Authentic Egg Rolls. On the menu, delicious spring rolls, fried rice, Chinese skewers and flavored teas.

The following week, Polka Dot Pig BBQ will be back on campus to serve up grilled meats, sides and mouth-watering desserts on Wednesday, October 20.

People won’t want to miss the last food truck on Wednesday, October 27, according to the release. Pickles and buns will bring gourmet sliders, sauces and side dishes loaded to Bolivar.

BTC staff invite everyone to enjoy the food trucks every week. BTC staff will be available inside to arrange tours or answer questions if anyone wants to learn more about the programs offered at Bolivar Technical College, the statement said.

BTC is currently accepting applications for its new RN to BSN online completion program, practical nursing program and general education courses which start in January 2022, as well as its RN Bridge program which starts in May 2022 and its program. nursing home that begins in August 2022., the release said. Bolivar Technical College is a nonprofit technical college serving southwest Missouri focused on educating students entering the healthcare industry, the statement said.
