November 16

9 a.m. – Decatur County Council meets in Room 106 of the Decatur County Courthouse. Open to the public.

November 17

1 p.m. – The Friends Too Homemakers Club will meet at Laughlin Park Mathews Shelter, on the west side of Rushville. Refreshments will be served during the information meeting. We invite anyone to join us.

November 18

11:30 a.m. – The Decatur County Retired Teachers Association will meet for lunch and a meeting at First Baptist Church. All retired teachers are invited.

7:15 pm – Monthly meeting of the Daughters of Isabella of St. Mary’s Circle at the Rosary of Greensburg K de C. at 7:15 pm with meeting at 7:30 pm Vote on rule updates; all members are invited to attend.

November 20

5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. – Fireside chicken dinner before the North Decatur vs South Decatur Girls Game at North Decatur High School. Two coins $ 8, three coins $ 10. Profits support the Lady Charges basketball program.

21 November

7 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Annual Pancake and Sausage Breakfast at Sunman Area Life Square. A voluntary offering will be gladly accepted.

11:30 am to 1:30 pm – Napoleon’s St. John’s Lutheran Church Turkey dinner at the wheel at the Napoleon Fire Hall on Millhousen Road. $ 12.50 per dinner. Information: 812-852-4416.

7:00 p.m .: The Greensburg Aviation Board of Directors will meet at the EOC. Open to the public.

7:00 p.m. – The public is invited to the Westport Area Churches Thanksgiving Praise Meeting in southern Decatur County at the Southeast Baptist Youth Camp, 3127 W. CR 800 S., Greensburg. Information: 812-591-3807.

1st December

3 p.m. to 5 p.m. – Rush County Community Assistance Food Pantry Holiday Food Pantry distribution at 109 E. Third Street, Rushville. One day only!

December 4

10:00 am – First Church of God and LifeLine Wesleyan are hosting their monthly “Hands of Hope” pantry distribution.

December 6

8 a.m. – Decatur County Commissioners meet in Room 106 of the Decatur County Courthouse. Open to the public.
