LCSC JUNIOR WARRIOR GIRLS ‘BASKETBALL CAMP – Lewis-Clark State’s women’s basketball coaching staff will be hosting their annual Junior Warrior Camp for girls entering grades 3-6 from 9 a.m. to noon June 28-30 through activity center. The emphasis is on teaching the fundamentals and having fun. Progressive skill development applied to individual and team competitions is based on age and ability. There will be a half-day camp from 9 a.m. to noon for players ages 5 to 7 and a full-day camp for players ages 8 to 14. It is designed to teach the basics of the game. The Intermediate Camp, for players in the Grades 5-8, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. daily, will focus on all aspects of the game with an emphasis on skill development. The afternoon sessions allow campers to practice their fundamentals. The cost of the youth camp is $ 75 per child and the cost of the intermediate camp is $ 150 per child. The Boys and Girls Clubs of Lewis Clark Valley are hosting a high school and college football pass league tournament on July 24 sponsored by Happy Day Restaurants. Teams will benefit from three guaranteed games and the cost is $ 200 per team (or $ 150 if registering two teams in the same division).

CLARKSTON, LEWISTON ALUMNI GIRLS ‘SOCCER GAME – A game between former players of the Clarkston and Lewiston women’s soccer teams will take place at 6:30 p.m. at Clarkston High School, following the scheduled game between the two teams.
