Summary

MIL Company is looking for an Administrative Assistant II to perform Applicant Tracking System (ATS) research, coordination and maintenance activities in order to identify qualified candidates for open positions. This person will need to manage a contingent job application workload in support of multiple recruiters and hiring managers. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong communication skills who understands the challenges of supporting multiple government contracts as well as other MIL business initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Work with MIL recruiters to identify staffing needs, define requirements and meet sourcing goals
  • Establish and maintain a dynamic candidate pool by developing networks around common skill sets
  • Find and hire candidates using a variety of traditional recruiting methods while using cutting edge trends
  • Use online recruiting sources such as major and specialty job boards, professional networking sites, user groups and mailing lists, blogs, social media and direct sourcing to identify and recruit passive and active qualified candidates
  • Assist the hiring manager with the following responsibilities as required: reviewing applications and selecting candidates to assess their qualifications related to work history, education, training, job skills, salary expectations and suitability global with the organization
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant recruitment procedures and practices in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations
  • Manage the company’s candidate tracking system (Taleo Business Edition) which manages candidate and employee profiles, as well as company job postings
  • Create custom reports to monitor and analyze recruitment metrics
  • Work with different departments to help improve the efficiency of the hiring process and make ad hoc changes to the system
  • Help with additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications required

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1 to 3 years of recruiting experience in the federal government sector
  • Experience with recruiting individuals who intersect multidisciplinary IT skill sets in the rapidly evolving field of public procurement
  • Recruitment or sourcing experience in a technical environment
  • Ability to use advanced sourcing techniques to engage candidates and build a professional network
  • Experience working in a high volume recruiting environment, occupying critical technical positions for government clients
  • Very good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • American citizenship
  • As per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or your willingness to be vaccinated.
